UNPRECEDENTED LEVELS OF GENEROSITY
The Foundation received two of its largest estate gifts, its first $1 million cash gift and four donors made or pledged $1 million gifts to the Foundation during the campaign.
GROWTH IN ASSETS
Total assets of the Foundation grew from $7.2 million to $17.5 million when the Campaign concluded.
FUNDING IN PERPETUITY
46 new endowment funds, totaling $5.3 million, were established, providing funding in perpetuity for educational and leadership programs, scholarships and chapter housing opportunities.
NEW GIVING SOCIETIES
Two new giving societies were created to recognize donors, the Order of the Crest ($250,000-$499,999) and Cornerstone Society ($500,000 or more).
INCREASED FUNDING OF OPERATIONS
The Chairman’s Club was created to celebrate those who provide the strongest support for the Annual Fund — as a result, doubling the number of people donating $700 or more annually.
100 LEGACIES IN THE MAKING
64 alumni added their names to the 100 Legacies in the Making Campaign, pledging over $4.11 million in newestate gift commitments.
The Foundation received five North‐American Interfraternity Conference Foundation (NICF) “Awards of Distinction” and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mid-America Chapter’s “Excellence in Fundraising” Award.
FOUNDATION STAFF GROWTH
To support the progress of the Foundation, two new staff members were added to the Foundation—Stewardship Coordinator and Director of Advancement.
NEW HEADQUARTERS SPACE
The Fraternity and Foundation significantly expanded the international headquarters office by moving to a new custom-built space in February 2016.
